ABOUT INI RADEF
Based on a Chilean model, INI RADEF was established in November 1994 as a legal, Indonesian based international Foundation (yayasan) with a mandate to promote links between Indonesia and overseas in the fields of Agribusiness, Education, Environmental Protection, Small Business Development, NGO development, Sporting activities and Eco-Tourism. It’s main aim is to increase the prosperity of the Indonesian people through community based projects. Since 1994, the Foundation has developed slowly without loans into a small, cohesive organisation which is financially sound and is capable of partnering a number of diverse organisations in the areas detailed in The Mission Statement. INI RADEF invests in small businesses or enterprises and thus indirectly is responsible for the employment of many thousands of Indonesians. INI RADEF believes in sustainable, non loan development.
Administration
The day to day affairs of the Foundation is run by a Board of Management, BOM (Chairman Dr Alan Wilson) which is monitored by a Board of Trustees, BOT (Chairman Professor Dr Made Mastika, ex Dean of Animal Science, Udayana University; currently Director Inkubator Agribisnis, Bali). Both boards have senior Indonesians. The financial base of the organisation is small with a thrust to develop a sound capital base both within Indonesia (using the Lippo Bank and Bank Permata) and abroad (using Unicredit , Australia ).
